Tested to the European standard
Our European-poured tealights are made and tested to RAL-GZ 041, the European quality standard for candles. In independent DEKRA laboratory testing, our 6-hour clear-cup tealight recorded an hourly soot index of 0.16 against a limit of 1.0, left 3.2% of its wax unburned against a limit of 12%, and burned for an average of 6 hours 13 minutes against 6 stated. Low soot matters on linens, walls and ceilings when you light candles every night. Tealights are a palm wax blend with a lead-free cotton wick.
